Terms and Conditions Required to Hire Go Go Philly Movers (herein referred to as GGPM)
N.B. These terms and conditions apply only to jobs booked after March 12, 2011
- Moving and packing jobs originating outside Philadelphia are charged a 2 hour minimum, then prorated to nearest 15 minutes. Customers in these locations will be given a transit fee at the hourly rate from 1900 W Girard Ave to the first location, then from the second location back to W Girard Ave. Flat rate jobs are exempted from this requirement.
- A $50 fee will be charged to any customer canceling an appointment within 48 hours of the appointment confirmation.
- If the customer cannot provide a legal parking place for the moving van, the customer is responsible for paying any corresponding fine levied on that van, including meters. Parking passes are given for free from the Philadelphia Streets Department at (215) 686-5525.
Customer is responsible for paying any highway or bridge toll incurred during the transportation of their move for non flat rate moves. - GGPM are not responsible for any theft or accident that may occur from a third party or in the moving van if the movers are working within the customer’s home.
- A mover may at anytime refuse to perform a task if they believe it seriously jeopardizes their health or safety. The mover may request the signing of a property damage waiver if they believe a certain task would likely result in property damage.
- GGPM offers free cargo insurance up to $5,000 with a $1,000 deductible for damages occurring while in transit. GGPM does not insure items being loaded or unloaded into its trucks nor within a building. Damage to all of these items is the sole responsibility of the owner of those items.
- GGPM provides free General Liability Insurance availability on each of its moves, which provides no more than $300,000 per incident, $600,000 aggregate.
- Cost to add additional insured to General Liability Insurance is $150. Additional insured required by many apartment buildings to cover damages and repairs.
